Vintage Notes:
The 2023 vintage in Sonoma and Santa Barbara is widely considered exceptional, with producers describing it as a “dream vintage” due to its excellent acidity, balanced fruit flavors, and long, cool growing season, resulting in wines with vibrant character and remarkable complexity and balance; this was largely attributed to a wet winter which provided ample water to the vines, leading to a delayed harvest compared to average years.

Vinification:
The grapes were destemmed and cold-soaked, fermented between 14-19 days before pressing to barrel. The wine was then aged 18 Months in 100% French oak, 10% New, 30% second fill, 30% third fill, and 30% neutral.

Tasting Notes:
Alluring aromas of cassis are graced by exotic blackberry at its juicy core, followed by a silky, mouth-coating texture, with a fleshy black cherry finale.
